Business Builder Playbook

The Business Builder Playbook program is a new virtual program designed by The Covenant Group to address the opportunities and challenges entrepreneurs are experiencing in these unprecedented times.

The Business Builder Playbook is designed for entrepreneurs who are committed to applying the 3 R’s in their work and in their lives.

The Business Builder Playbook is a one-year, online program that integrates all the ways in which adults learn, including:

  • 12 monthly one-hour Educational Sessions facilitated by a senior coach.
  • 12 monthly one-hour peer-to-peer Study Group sessions to foster shared learning.
  • 12 monthly case studies targeted at relevant topics.
  • 12-month access to our best in class Coach on the Go performance platform, including planning tools, proven processes, and reports that generate real data in real-time on your real business. Customized by you, for you.
  • 12 monthly 30-minute, one-on-one coaching sessions with a senior coach (optional). 

The Business Builder Playbook program design rests on two important Adult Learning Principles:

  1. Adults learn best when they have a need to know.
  2. Adults learn and retain what they are able to apply, the Adult Learning Rule of 72: if you don’t apply what you learn in 72 hours, you lose it.

We live in complex times. The antidote to complexity is enquiry and simple guidelines. Enquiry involves asking questions to better understand the complex challenges we encounter. Simple guidelines enable us to make better, more informed decisions. In the Business Builder Playbook program, participants learn how to use questions to tame complexity. They learn how to implement simple guidelines.

The strategy of triage is a good example of a simple guideline that has saved countless lives when medical personnel have been required to make quick life-or-death decisions.
